On December 16-17, CLDP held a two-day workshop on power project procurement.

On December 13 to 18, CLDP held a Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb) arbitration certification program and an advanced arbitration training for Maldivian and Sri Lankan arbitrators.The first three days, the six Maldivian arbitrators and seven Sri Lankan arbitrators took the Advanced Route

On December 12, in Manama, Bahrain, CLDP held a workshop focused on technology transfer for representatives from government, academia, and the startup community. The workshop included an intellectual property exercise as well as a negotiation exercise of a technology license based on a case study

CLDP conducted a workshop on customs valuation in Safaga, Egypt December 12-14, 2019. This complements a similar workshop that took place in the ports of Alexandria and Said in August 2019.

On December 11-13, CLDP, in collaboration with the Moroccan Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, held a workshop on technology transfer and intellectual property in Casablanca, Morocco. The U.S. Consul General in Casablanca provided opening remarks.
