Kara Molnar is an International Program Specialist at the Commercial Law Development Program (CLDP). Ms. Molnar’s portfolio focuses on global methane abatement and critical minerals in Latin America and Eurasia.

Prior to joining CLDP, Ms. Molnar interned at the Council on Foreign Relations, the U.S. Department of State, and the Latvian Institute of International Affairs. She also worked with local NGOs to support the education of underprivileged primary-school students in Nicaragua and Peru. Most recently, she completed a Boren Scholarship for Russian at the University of Daugavpils in Latvia.

Ms. Molnar received her Bachelor of Arts in History and Spanish Studies from Brigham Young University, with a minor in Mathematics. She speaks Russian and Spanish and is conversational in French.
