Laurie Morgan is an Attorney Advisor with the Commercial Law Development Program (CLDP) in the Office of the General Counsel of the U.S. Department of Commerce. Her overseas work focuses on legal reform and economic development issues with countries in Europe and Eurasia. Prior to joining CLDP, Ms. Morgan worked as an attorney in the Dispute Resolution and Public International Law practices at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer in New York. Ms. Morgan received her Juris Doctor from Georgetown University Law Center in Washington, D.C., where she was a Global Law Scholar. She received her Bachelor of Arts in International Justice from Leiden University College in The Hague, The Netherlands.  She is admitted to practice law in New Jersey.
