On September 10-13, CLDP, in partnership with the National School of Judges (NSJ) and the Higher Commercial Court (HCC) of Ukraine, held two back-to-back workshops on the adjudication of intellectual property infringement cases, and the adjudication of bankruptcy cases in Odessa, Ukraine. Participation for the programs included roughly 60 Ukrainian judges specializing in bankruptcy and insolvency and intellectual property protection. This effort presents the third phase of CLDP’s judicial capacity building program which began with a Workshop on Intellectual Property Infringement Cases in Yalta, Ukraine in June 2012, and was followed by U.S. Consultations on the Adjudication of Intellectual Property Cases hosted in Washington, D.C. in January 2013.  CLDP expanded its judicial training program beyond intellectual property protection for this third phase by adding additional commercial dispute topics, in this case, on bankruptcy and insolvency.
