PSR, a leading global Energy Consulting and Analytics firm, led the case study on the Brazilian power sector. PSR also covered topics on power market liberalization and market structure, market systems and operations, and energy generation and distribution auctions.

The Pakistan delegation also visited with their counterparts in Brazil, including: the Brazilian national grid operator, ONS - Operador Nacional do Sistema Elétrico; the Brazilian market operator, Câmara de Comercialização de Energia Elétrica - CCEE (Chamber of Electric Energy Commercialization); the Brazilian energy research and policy planning agency, Empresa de Pesquisa Energética (EPE); and the Brazilian power market regulator, Agência Nacional de Energia Elétrica (ANEEL). The Pakistani delegation exchanged MoUs on further cooperation and knowledge/material exchanges with CEE, ONS, and EPE. ANEEL also expressed its interest in exchanging an MoU and supporting Pakistan further.
