CLDP sponsored the attendance of 17 Trade Working Group members from several countries in the region to the meeting in Antalya, Turkey. CLDP Acting Chief Counsel Stephen D. Gardner will participate in the program and will plan future regional programs with the delegates to the SPTWG. In continuation of CLDP's support of the Stability Pact Trade Wokring Group (SPTWG), this meeting assisted Stability Pact countries in the implementation of the signed bi-lateral Free Trade Agreements (FTAs) as well as in discussing ways in which the SPTWG can play a coordinative role in the reduction of Non-Tariff Barriers (NTBs) in the region.
