CLDP, in collaboration with the World Bank and the U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT), will host a two-day roundtable in Thailand for CEOs and Chairpersons of regional port authorities in South Asia with the goal of fostering dialogue between the major ports, increasing regional connectivity, and engaging in a meaningful information exchange. The event will consist of an expert facilitated roundtable discussion and moderated exchange of ideas. CLDP and USDOT will also host a two-day working group session with two representatives from each port authority. The working group session will work to to facilitate connectivity between the ports to improve national maritime services and coordinate the effective exchange of information regarding development, organization, administration, and management.
