Uzbekistan: Commodity Futures Trading Workshop

From April 22-24, CLDP and experts from the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission conducted workshops on commodity futures for officials of the Uzbek Commodity Exchange and the Anti-Monopoly Committee in Bukhara and Tashkent. Focusing on the procedure, guardrails, and benefits of forward and futures trading, this workshop is part of CLDP’s wider effort to provide technical assistance in implementing futures trading, attracting foreign investment, and facilitating increased international trade in Uzbekistan.
