CLDP worked closely with Mohamed Ghernaout of Algeria's accounting association (Ordre des Experts Comptables) in Washington, D.C. August 27-31 to draft several case studies for judicial capacity building seminars scheduled to take place in Algeria in October and December 2007. Additionally, CLDP organized a series of meetings for Mr. Ghernaout with counterparts in Washington and New York, which resulted in the reactivation of the Algerian IFAC application process and the establishment of new avenues for potential partnership and collaboration.
